Hey ladies! Happy Monday! Happy Monday! I pray that you all had an amazing weekend and you're encouraged to be your best self this week.
The past few weeks have been crazy in the USA and other countries. There has been a wide spread of COVID-19 aka Coronavirus and people are scared, worried, stressed, frantic, concerned and much more! I'm witnessing people being tormented by the spirit of fear and completely giving the authority to the Virus.
Now, before I continue in no way am I telling people to not take proper precautions. By all means do your research find out what this virus is, see what the symptoms are and see what you can do to keep your family, yourself and those round you safe! Whatever is needed to build your immune system hey I'm for it! I started taking a multi vitamin and will continue to take other all natural supplements to ensure that my body is fueled with the right things. Honestly, I should of been doing this but rather now then never right?
Alright, there we go! You see what I did there? I addressed the virus in a natural way. That was my natural response, that was me doing my due diligence.
Spiritually I am praying, I am pleading the blood of Jesus over my house, over my body, over my family, over my city, over my nation and over this world! I am speaking Authority over everything and NOT giving authority to this Virus. I am a believer of Jesus Christ therefore my faith is in HIM! I understand that God has NOT given me the the spirit of fear. ("For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7") But God has given me wisdom and a sound mind to navigate through the chaos.
What's really disheartening is the amount of believers who are fearful. This is our time to be bold, united and in agreement but we are freaking out because we are listening to fearful media tactics that are not rooted in Jesus. We are listening to fearful people tell us how to navigate throughout this situation. Once again I'm not saying don't be cautious I'm saying don't be fearful. Use wisdom! Pray! Let God lead you because if you let this world lead you chile you'll be under a rock right now.
So to the body of Christ our reactions needs to look a little different right now. Our faith needs to be through the roof right now! Our service needs to be on 10 right now. If you know an elderly person who can't get out or their immune system can't handle any sickness (Flu, common cold, etc) go to the store for them! Ask them is there anything you can do to help them.
So once again I say with Boldness, Authority and my STL Accent FEAR CAN'T LIVE HERE! (Fu-rr K-aint Live Hu-rr) and that is on PERIOD!
I bind that spirit of fear that is in you right now and command it to go!!! I pray right now that you won't be fearful of anything that has to bow down to Jesus! I pray that you lean on the Holy Spirit to lead you and give you wisdom! I pray that no weapon formed against you shall prosper! I pray over our nation and world that this will past. I pray that God will get all the glory and that you are reminded that God is a HEALER! In every situation he heals. I pray this over you and your family in Jesus name Amen!
Lets meditate on Psalms 91, now and forever!
Psalm 91
1 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. 3 For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. 4 He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. 5 Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day. 6 Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. 7 Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you. 8 Just open your eyes, and see how the wicked are punished.
9 If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, 10 no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. 11 For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. 12 They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone. 13 You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet!
14 The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. 15 When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. 16 I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation.”
