Hey Queens!

How often do we need a quick reminder to love ourself? I'm not talking about the "superficial" loving yourself. I'm talking about the kind of love that pushes you to become a better you. The type of love that allows you not to settle. The type of love that loves other people. The type of love that walks with her head held high despite what may be bringing her down. The type of love that allows you to be a light in a dark place. The type of love that allows you to completely focus on yourself 100%.

When you hear people talk about self love, it's in the context of contentment. "I love me so I aint gotta change," mentality. But that is not love, that is complacency. You have to love yourself enough to not get stuck in bad habits. Love yourself to come out of all bad habits to become the best YOU you can be.

Can I be honest with y'all? I'm on a self love journey right now. I realized that I was putting my time into SOO many things/people that I began to neglect myself in so many areas. I was so focused on others that I just began to get mentally and emotionally drained. So I decided to make self love a lifestyle. I vowed to never let someone/something drain me. I decided that I was not going to put my energy into anything that did not make me better. If it did not push me towards Christ or my goals it just does not matter. If it isn't fulfilling purpose in my life it does not matter.

Yeah, that is what I'm on now and forevaaaaaa! *inserts yelling emoji* IF IT DON'T MAKE ME BETTER IT IS NOT GETTING ANYTIME. I CHOOSE ME*

Self Love Tips:

1) Reclaim your time

2) Be driven by purpose

3) Stop giving your all, in situations God didn't call you to be in

4) Stop being lead by your emotons

5) What makes you happy? (Focus on that)

6) What do you enjoy doing? (Start doing that)

7) Take a step back and debrief

8) Focus on your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health

Prayer: God I thank you for every life that reads this. I pray that today and moving forward that they unapologetically choose them. I pray that they get a desire to start a journey of self love. I pray that they are lead by you in every way. I thank you in advance for the growth they will receive during this life style change. I pray that they are reminded that you are there every step of the way. In your name I pray.

God is working and he loves you sis.

Have a fantastic week
